The Middletown Home Celebrates Super Bowl Sunday

06 Feb 2018
Whether you are an Eagles fan, a Patriots fan, or you’re just there for the food, you were probably at a Super Bowl Party on February 4th. If you were at the Middletown Home you might have been at our Super Bowl Party in the Chapel, or if you weren’t there you at least might have heard us cheering!
Preparation started the week before with buying and creating decorations and ordering food. Thanks to some generous donations, we were able to make the party one to remember! We had steamers, balloons, posters, banners, and flags. We had pizza, stromboli, chicken wings, chips, whoopie pies, and drinks.
The game was projected onto our big screen. Over 100 residents, family members, and staff were packed into our chapel with more coming in and out throughout the game. After every touchdown the room let out a big cheer (with cheering for the Eagle’s touchdowns being a bit louder)! It was an awesome night full of football, food, and fun!
Way to go EAGLES!
